CBS reporter: Obama's campaign plane stinks

Literally. And it's not the only thing Dean Reynolds sees wrong with the Barack Obama campaign after covering it for the past year. He recently spent time with the John McCain team for a change of pace, and it turned out to be a much different experience:

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

You know, I saw something about this on the news last night, and I found it very interesting, because while the McCain campaign is (according to this and the news report) more friendly and helpful with the media, they (the media) is still in love with Obama.  Are they so ideologically bound that even the difference in treatment cannot force them to a more equal and unbiased coverage of the two?  It speaks volumes to me of how firmly entrenched in a liberal ideology much of the media is.  There can be no pretense of fairness.
