Retired US General Wesley Clark on Sunday said Republican White House hopeful John McCain lacked executive experience to be president, in rare criticism of the Vietnam veteran's military service.
This is coming from a man who almost started World War III: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/671495.stm
Heh. Yep. Got so band Clinton essentially relieved him of command.
Clark is an @!$%#. Been trying to make himself politically relevant for years.
Agreed, so McCain's experience of at least being a military officer doesn't give him the 'Executive Experience' he needs, what qualifications does he feel Obama has besides being a good communicator? I can communicate pretty well too-and yet, I have no illusions of trying to go head-to-head with rulers of nations around the world.
I think Obama needs more experience as an elected official before he goes to the top of the pile-as evidenced by having this hack as his mouthpiece.
Agreed. Clark is a lefty re-tread who has no credibility.
Frankly, just shows how tough it is for any lib/dem to get really experienced, well thought of military folks on their side!
Weird thing about Clark is that he was a Republican until '04. Even voted for Bush in '00 over Gorebert.
Bill:
I know. But he was never a "republican." He was a "Clarkian," and whatever party the thought would further his political ambitions was the one he went with.
He learned the pubs had too many military men who folks admired more than him, so he went dem.
Incredibly self serving and ego centric.
