Fryburg: About 40 students from five North Dakota schools developed a prototype Mars space suit, under a $1,00,000 grant from NASA. The suit was formally unveiled in a crater-like area in the North Dakota Badlands, the highly eroded landscape that researchers say resembles Martian terrain.
